Reconsidering the Christian Faith
The New Testament Book of Hebrews was written to Jewish believers of the first century A.D. who were in danger of casting aside their Christian faith and reverting to Judaism. The author exhorted them not to fall away from their faith because Jesus and the New Covenant he brought were better than Moses and the Old Covenant that they would be reverting to. This website is for those of the millennial generation and beyond, especially those from Christian background, who have fallen away or are considering turning away from the faith. It is written to challenge you to consider carefully before turning away from the “faith of your fathers,” because what Jesus and the Christian faith have to offer is better in several important respects than what you would be replacing it with. The content of this site is originally a manuscript about the length of the book of Hebrews, intended to be read in one or two sittings. To read the manuscript in succession, simply click the link at the end of each page to continue on to the next chapter At the bottom of each page, there are also links for further reading and study on the topic of that chapter. These are recommended for the site visitor who wants to explore in more depth some of the topics treated in the chapters. If you would like to download the whole manuscript at once, there is a link at the bottom of this page. While the inspiration for this manuscript comes from the book of Hebrews, the author does not claim that it is on the level of divinely inspired scripture. It is my prayer, however, that God will use it to help many not to fall away due to the influence of the prevailing culture around them, but to persevere in their faith to the saving of their souls.
